Who is Thatcher?

Thatcher Nelson is a Cinematographer, photographer, sound artist,t and editor who has been mastering his craft since he was only ten years old when his family gifted him his first camera, a Sony Handycam, beginning his career and never turning back. He has been fascinated by all the arts since a very young age, but film and photography have always been his focus. He attended the Montana State University Film & Photo program and graduated with a bachelor's in film. He has spent his free time working on personal projects as well as a plethora of other collaborative works he had the pleasure of working on and being a part of. He has been Director of Photography for many of his projects, such as Transpotty and The Chase, with Transpotty nominated for best parody in the L.A shortfest. He is very passionate when it comes to his cinematography. He has a stylized look in his compositions; he is driven by darker moods and symmetry, adding a personal touch that is recognizable to any viewer of his films and photography.
